Warriors, Lions prepare
Corinth senior Will Crawford (10) and Biggersville junior Brooks Brand (5) will each lead their respective teams into battle later this week when they play their north half openers. For the Lions, they will be at home as they host Varadaman, the No. 4 seed from Region 4-1A, while the Warriors return to Carthage, Miss., to face the Region 4-4A champion Leake Central. The last time Corinth and Leake Central played, former CHS standouts Tada Stricklen and Jon D. Warren were juniors and the Warriors lost on a blown foul call at the end of the game. The Lions and Rams last met in the first round of the 2013 playoffs, a 101-34 BHS blowout. Biggersville went on to win the state championship that spring..
