Coach Kelly Hopper and her team will host East Webster Tuesday to begin their quest for a second consecutive 2A state title. They defeated Puckett for their first state championship last October at Clinton High School. The Lady ‘Cats could face defending class 3A state runner-up Belmont in the 2A north half championship game next Tuesday, Oct. 19 if both teams win their first two matches this week.
