Golden Bears hope to advance past booneville
Alcorn Central senior Justin Hernandez (10) and the Golden Bears were in action late Tuesday against Belmont in the first round of the Division 1-3A tournament at Bonner Arnold Coliseum on the Northeast Community College campus in Booneville. The teams split their regular season series and both had high hopes of moving on to the next round. The AC / Belmont winner will draw division champion Booneville Wednesday at 4:30 and will advance to the north half opening round next Tuesday.
