Corinth loses fifth straight at Mooreville

Corinth’s Broderick Alexander (1) brings down a Houston ball carrier in recent game action at Warrior Stadium. The Tribe found themselves in a shootout Friday, tied with Mooreville at 21-all in the third quarter before crucial penalties and turnovers led to a 42-21 Troopers home win in Lee County. Alexander scored all three Warrior touchdowns, including two scoring receptions from quarterback Brawner Cregeen and a 65-yard kickoff return TD to open the second half. Corinth falls to 1-6 overall and 0-3 in Region 1-4A. They will host Itawamba next Friday.
