CHS seeking seventh straight appearance

Corinth senior Kate Nakagawa (22) lunges to return a shot Monday as sophomore Anna Greene looks on. The Lady Warriors moved to 9-3 overall and 4-2 in Division 1-4A with a 3-0 (25-19, 25-11, 25-15) home win over Tishomingo County. Corinth hosted New Albany Tuesday and are scheduled to close the regular season Thursday at home against Ripley. If first year coach Emma Heubi’s squad wins out they should be in the MHSAA playoffs once again.
