HOLLONDALE - The Biggersville Lions scored more points on the Hollondale-Simmons defense than the Blue Devils surrendered all season - combined - in a 66-30 loss on Friday.
"We didn't come here for consolation prizes," first year Biggersville head coach Case Ingram said. "We knew the things we had to do to win. We thought we could take advantage of them in the passing game, but we didn't protect (quarterback) Drew (Rowsey) enough."

"We pulled him close to the end of the game," Ingram said. "He took a lot of hits, but he was in my ear the whole time 'Coach, I'm fine.'
"He's one of the toughest kids I've ever coached."
