Alcorn County features two new coaches

First year Alcorn County Head Coaches Justin Dye (left) of Corinth, and Case Ingram of Biggersville take over programs already on solid footing, seeking to continue the winning traditions the Warriors and Lions have established. Dye takes over for Todd Lowery while Ingram steps into the spot formerly manned by Stan Platt. Both squads won their respective divisions last year as CHS made the third round of the 4A playoffs while BHS made it to the 1A title game in Jackson. Both Dye and Ingram were defensive coordinators prior to their recent promotions. High School football previews will begin the week of Aug. 16 in the Daily Corinthian sports pages.
