It had been a couple of weeks since I had driven the old red truck when I climbed in the cab on a recent evening.

Once my dad’s pride and joy, the little red Ranger he bought brand new shortly before he retired is now beginning to look its age and today serves as a spare vehicle for me and a handy tool when I need to haul something big or messy. Though the owner’s manual doesn’t mention it on any of its pages and I’ve never seen an advertisement touting the feature, the little truck has another very unique capability.
