Graveside services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Lela Jane Brawley, 66, of Rienzi are set for Saturday at 11 a.m. at Henry Cemetery.

Mrs. Brawley passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021, at Magnolia Regional Health Center.

Born in Bell City, MO. on May 13, 1955, she was the daughter of Tennie Allen and Katherine Roach Stricklin. She was a homemaker. and attended Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Booneville.

Survivors include her son, Charles Wayne Brawley of Rienzi; brothers, David (Becky) Stricklin of Corinth, Mark (Wanda) Stricklin of Counce, Gerry Stricklin of Ramer, Perry Stricklin of Ramer, and Calvin (Melissa) Stricklin of Rienzi; sisters: Mary Katherine “Kathy” (Jerry) of Walnut and Debbie (Phillip) Griswell of Corinth.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Brawley; a son, Steven Ray Brawley; her parents; her mother-in-law Effie Wilson; grandparents, Jess and Elvie Bivens Roach and Harve and Mary Roach Stricklin; and two brothers, William Stricklin and Robert Stricklin.

Bro. Warren Jones will officiate the service.

Corinthian Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
