Funeral services for Shirley Ann Sterwald Barber, 73, of Iuka, are 12 p.m. Saturday at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time.

Mrs. Barber died Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist and enjoyed gardening and spending time with family.

Survivors include her husband, Tom Barber; sons, Rob Hutchings (Leah) and Dr. David Hutchings (Tammy); stepdaughters, Brina Stiefelmayer and Debbie Schultz; and grandchildren, Shelby Hutchings, Alaina Hutchings, Molly Hutchings, Jackson Hutchings, Audrey Hutchings and Preston Hutchings.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Sadie Griep Sterwald; brothers, Russell Sterwald and Wallace Sterwald; and two grandchildren, Robbie Hutchings and Drew Hutchings.

Bro. James Rich will officiate.

Lonnie Bascomb

Lonnie Bascomb, 72, of Glen died Thursday, April 29, 2021 at his residence.

Arrangements are incomplete with Magnolia Funeral Home.

Gregory Moore

Celebration of life services for Gregory Keith Moore, 61, of Corinth, is 2 p.m. Sunday at the Chapel at Corinthian Funeral Home with burial at Union Baptist Church Cemetery located at 324 CR 560.

Visitation is Sunday from 1 p.m. until service time.

Mr. Moore died Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Adamsville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness. Born December 5, 1959, in Alcorn County, he was the son of Felix and Lela Grace Rider Moore. He was employed at Smith Home Center and was a Baptist.

Survivors include his daughter, Melissa Moore Schierwagen of Rawlins, Wyo.; sister, Kathryn Smith; and grandchildren, Lauren Schierwagen and Trevor Schierwagen.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Nina Gale Moore, Roma Gay Moore and Shirley Alice Moore.

Rob Ray

Funeral services for Robert S. (Rob) Ray, 64, are 3:30 p.m. Friday at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer, Tenn., with burial at Mt. Gilead Cemetery at Bethel Springs, Tenn.

Mr. Ray died Wednesday, April 28, 2021, in Jackson, Tenn. Mr. Ray was born November 2, 1956, in Pekin, Ill., the son of the late Johnson and Wadene Tull Ray. He worked as a medic and LPN in Memphis, Hardin County, Waverly and surrounding areas. He was a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Bethel Springs, Tenn.

Survivors include his wife Glenda Ray of Selmer, Tenn.; son, Stan Ray (Tiffany) of Corinth; granddaughter, Katey Ray of Corinth; grandson, Jake Tucker of Corinth; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Alan Ray.

Mark LaRue will officiate.

Pamela K. Smith

The family of Pamela K. Smith will host a memorial on Saturday, May 1 at the Glen Town Hall on Highway 72 East from 2 to 5 p.m.

Mrs. Smith died May 1, 2020, and due to the pandemic, no services were held.

Larry Joe Tucker, Sr.

Funeral services for Larry Joe Tucker, Sr., 69, are 2 p.m. Saturday at Bethlehem MB Church in Faulkner with burial at Ruckerville in Faulkner.

Visitation is Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Patterson's Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Tucker died Monday, April 26, 2021 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth.

Survivors include his children, Larry Joe "Fuzzy" Tucker, Jr. and Pastor Jonathan Tucker (Scherrita); siblings, Ollie Tucker (Dottie) and Liza Mae Gills; grandchildren, Kwaveon Tucker, Joshanae Tucker, Jonathan Tucker, II and Ameraca Tucker.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Fannie Gussie Buntyn; father, Ollie Tucker; and step-mother, Mae Ida Tucker.

The ecologist will be Rev. Ronnie B. Gibbs and Rev. James F. Howell will officiate.

Della V. Waldrup

Funeral services for Della V. Nichols Waldrup. 83, of Burnsville, are 10 a.m. Saturday at Magnolia Funeral Home - East with burial at Waldrup Family Cemetery in Burnsville.

Visitation is Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time.

Mrs. Waldrup died Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at North Mississippi Medical Center - Iuka. Born July 12, 1937 in Holcut, she was a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church and a retired forklift operator for Kimberly Clark. She was a generous person to the people she loved. She was always a hardworking and courageous mom and a loving and caring wife. She loved riding her Can-Am motorcycle with her husband, Gene, every chance she got. Her strength and passion for life will live on. "She will be missed" just doesn’t express the void left by her passing to her family and many friends.

Survivors include her husband of 30 years, William E. “Gene” Waldrup of Burnsville; daughter, Tama Morgan of Huntsville, Ala.; stepdaughter Carol Marsh of Tecumseh, Mich.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Marie Wright of Burnsville; other relatives and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elton Nichols; mother, Emma Nichols; and daughter, Tawanna V. Helton.

Pallbearers include Danny Wood, Brant Studdard and Richard Russo, Sr.

Bro. Stanley Magill will officiate.
