Wreck Stops Westbound 72 Traffic

A two-vehicle traffic accident about 1:45 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. 72 near the entrance to Magnolia Funeral Home stopped westbound traffic for a period. Corinth Fire Department First Responders, several units from the Corinth Police Department and two Magnolia EMS ambulances were all dispatched to the scene. A Sheriff’s Department unit also assisted. Corinth police are investigating the crash, and a crash report was not yet available Wednesday afternoon.
