Interested candidates can look no further than a couple of job fairs in the Crossroads area next week.
The Alcorn Job Fair will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17 at the Crossroads Arena.
“We currently have 22 companies registered to participate,” said The Alliance Community Development Director Lane Yoder. “There is no cost for job seekers to attend and they don’t have to pre-register unless they want to.”
Potential employers include manufacturing, such as Ashley Furniture, Corinthian Furniture; healthcare providers such as Magnolia Regional Health Center, North Mississippi State Hospital and many others. Other businesses, such as Corinth Coca-Cola will also be on hand.
The Tishomingo County Job Fair will have 18 businesses participating at the Iuka Fairgrounds Building from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19.
Manufacturers, including Bollinger Mississippi Ship Building, Contract Fabrication, Mississippi Silicon and Tempur Sealy, will be at the Tishomingo County fair.
Northeast Mississippi Community College, Mississippi Child Protection Services, Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services, Wise Company and Walgreens will be present at both fairs.
