A night of fabulous fun for daughters and their fathers or father figures will occur next month when a local civic club brings back a popular event.
The Corinth Kiwanis Club will present the 10th annual Father Daughter Ball on Saturday, Feb. 5 at the Crossroads Arena.
Deemed as the “biggest party in town” by organizers, the event offers a special evening for fathers, grandfathers and father figures to carry their princesses to the ball for a fun night of food, dancing, music, activities, Meet the Princesses, Makeup Station, Sticker Station and Make a Cupcake for Dad Station. Add-ons include professional photos, Ball Memories t-shirts and sponsorship packages.
“We are so happy to be able to plan and host the Father Daughter Ball this year,” said Kiwanis member Ken Weeden. “We truly love being able to provide memorable evenings for all who attend.”
Weeden said the theme of the 2022 Ball is “Belle of the Bayou” and attire is dressy (formal). He said many decorations will have a Louisiana feel.
“The dancing, food and princesses are all a big hit with the girls, but our main objective with this event has always been relationship building between girls and their dads or father figures,” Weeden said. “Moms seem to typically have dedicated one-on-one time with their daughters more often than dads, and we are proud to offer a night to give dads, granddads and father figures an occasion to focus just on their girls.”
Early Bird tickets are $50 for the first couple and $10 for each additional daughter. Early bird pricing ends Jan. 31 with Last Chance tickets at $70 for the first couple going on sale from Feb. 1-5.
