A Corinth vehicle burglary bandit over the holiday period remains behind bars.
The Corinth Police Department has arrested 33-year-old Antwan Deshawn Patterson, address unknown, and charged him with two counts of attempted burglary of an automobile and possession of burglary tools.
He remains jailed in lieu of $25,000 bond.
Patterson was arrested on New Year’s Day and the alleged crimes were committed in the early morning hours of Thursday, Dec. 29, according to police.
Police were able to arrest Patterson after looking over surveillance footage from residents. The vehicle burglaries happened on Hickory Road, Roundelay Drive and other nearby streets.
Patterson used a white mask in the burglaries and had a backpack with burglary tools, said police.
More charges could be filed against Patterson as detectives are still looking over surveillance footage and interviewing victims.
Det. Sgt. Bo Swindle is the arresting officer and detective in the ongoing investigation.
