Corinth police are still searching for one suspect in a Monday murder.

Det. Capt. Dell Green told the Daily Corinthian that murder suspect Darnell Deshawn Durr Jr., 23, of 200 West Harris Circle, is still on the loose wanted in the Labor Day murder of 19-year-old Anthony Tyrell Jamison Jr.

Green said the second suspect – Previs “Malik” Williams, 17, of Wenasoga Road, has been apprehended after he turned himself in to authorities on Wednesday.

Police received a call reporting gunfire at Farmington Arms Apartments on Monday night. When they arrived law enforcement found Jamison lying on the ground with several gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

It was eyewitnesses who helped Green and the police determine the suspects. Green said Durr was identified as the shooter.

“The investigation continues and we ask anyone with information about the shooting, please contact the department,” said Green.
