A local man was sentenced to serve four years on a burglary charge.

Jesse William Stover, 31, pleaded guilty in Alcorn County Circuit Court to burglary of a building. Judge John White suspended three years from a seven-year sentence, leaving four years to serve in custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

The sentence includes three years of probation and a $1,000 fine.

In an indictment out of Tishomingo County, Joshua Patrick Murray, 32, pleaded guilty to aggravated domestic violence and was sentenced to serve 10 years. The judge suspended 10 years from a 20-year sentence, which includes five years of probation.

Other sentences handed down on guilty pleas from the current term include:

• Serenity Ally Grace Robinson, 21, burglary of a dwelling with intent to commit larceny -- Suspended 25-year sentence with five years of probation and a $1,000 fine. She entered an open plea.

• Kimberly Dawn Cate, 48, accessory after the fact to a violent felony with punishment of less than 20 years -- Suspended 15-year sentence with five years of probation and a $1,000 fine

• Lawrence O'Neal Burnett, 49, possession of methamphetamine -- Suspended three-year sentence with two years of probation and a $1,000 fine

• Christopher Riley Sanders, 29, burglary of a building -- Suspended seven-year sentence with five years of probation and a $1,000 fine

• Danny Scott Thornton, 26, possession of methamphetamine -- Suspended 20-year sentence with five years of probation and a $1,000 fine

• Lakin Nicole Mills, 33, possession of methamphetamine with intent -- Suspended 20-year sentence with five years of probation and a $1,000 fine
