It’s time to thread the needle and have sew much fun at the Corinth Library.

For anyone new to sewing or in need of a refresher, the library staff will offer an introductory sewing class on Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. to noon. Staff will demonstrate how to thread a machine, sew both a straight and a zigzag stitch, and make an appliqué turkey that can later be made into an apron, a placemat, a pillow, or a wall hanging. Packets of supplies and instructions will be provided to each participate so that they can make the turkey appliqué on their own.

To sign up for the class, individual sewing sessions, or for more information, contact the library at (662) 287-2441.
