The Living Healthy Free Medical Clinic started by Dr. T.L. Sweat is ready to provide “virtual” appointments to former patients and new patients who have no medical insurance and are unable to afford paying for medical care. The clinic welcomes adults and children age 12 and up.

The virtual appointments are available on the days the clinic was originally open, which is the second Wednesday and fourth Saturday of each month from 1-until or 4 p.m. Patients who request a virtual appointment must have a phone capable of downloading the free Google Duo for phones that aren’t iPhones and FaceTime for iPhones and will need to send a text to (662) 643-3788 and include their name, phone number, medical need and whether or not they are currently a patient.

A text will be sent with the time for their virtual appointment. They will receive a call from Debbie McFall, NP (Wednesday) or Leonard Pratt, MD (Saturday) and will need to be available to provide information during their appointment.

Because the clinic is staffed by volunteers, for the current time only virtual appointments will be made.

Once the pandemic subsides, plans are to reopen the clinic for face to face visits. During the virtual appointment patients will be given instructions on how to receive medications. Please DO NOT make calls to the number for appointments; ONLY send texts.
