Alcorn County voters will put pen to paper on Tuesday in a general election dominated locally by county school board races.

With all of the U.S. House of Representatives and one-third of the U.S. Senate up for election, national attention is focused on the high-stakes midterm congressional elections. The local congressional race, however, in which Republican Rep. Trent Kelly is challenged by Democrat Dianne Black, has received little attention.
