The Alliance kicked off 2023 with its first coffee at Wilco Real Estate.
Alliance coffees started in April.
“We decided to try something new and could not be more pleased with how well the Alliance and Corinth community has embraced this new networking gathering,” said Community Development Director Lane Yoder.
Yoder developed the idea out of a need to provide a different networking opportunity for Corinth professionals.
The calendar is full for the 2023 slate of Alliance Coffees.
“We have had anything from banks to radio stations, restaurants, any kind of business,” said Yoder. “We currently have sponsors for Alliances Coffees booked through 2023. We have a waiting list in case anyone cancels, but we have started on 2024.”
Wilco broker/owner Marea Wilson said the coffees are a good chance to interact with the community.
“I like to entertain,” she said. “It’s such a great way to network with other businesses in our community.”
A hosting business must be a member of the Alliance.
“We have had anything from banks to radio stations, restaurants, any kind of business,” said Yoder. “We do this for the community so people can learn about businesses and community events.”We average between 50 and 75 people every month.”
Alliance Coffee is the second Wednesday of each month at 11 a.m.
“It is a chance to network and to learn about community events,” said Yoder. “There is always good food. There is a raffle.”
