The Tishomingo County Development Foundation Board of Directors has selected Contract Fabricators, Inc., for the 2020 Tishomingo County Industry of the Year Award. The award is given each year to industries that employ local citizens and make significant investments in the economy of Tishomingo County.
TCDF Chair Eric Daniel reported that “CFI was the unanimous choice for 2020 because of their major investment in 2020. The company produces some of the largest and most unique metal fabrications in the USA and we are proud to have the company in Tishomingo County.”
Founded in 1983 by Boyce DeLashmit, CFI has grown from a single, small building with less than 10 employees to a company with three separate operations in two locations with over 150 employees. The management’s commitment to CFI’s core values have resulted in extraordinary growth. From two facilities in Holly Springs and Iuka, CFI has provided products to industrial sites around the world, including the Gulf of Mexico, Columbia, United Kingdom, Japan, Malaysia, and Australia.
CFI has extensive experience with the design, engineering, and fabrication of process equipment for the Oil & Gas (Upstream & Downstream), Petrochemical, Chemical Processing, and Power Generation industries. The equipment that CFI has supplied in previous projects include Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) equipment such as Reactors, Regenerators, and their components, ASME Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, API Tanks, Ductwork, and more.
CFI has extensive experience with many of the common materials used for process equipment including Carbon Steels, Chrome-Moly Steels, Stainless Steels, Clad lining, Nickel Alloys, and Duplex Alloys.
Contract Fabricators, Inc., located in Tishomingo County in 2011 and has significantly exceeded its job creation and private investment commitments. The ultra high bay building was added in 2015 and a barge dock was completed in 2020.
