John Butler has joined Commerce Bank as vice president and lending officer. Commerce Bank President and Chief Executive Officer Frank Davis commented, “We’re happy to have John Butler as part of the Commerce Bank family. We know that he will be a great asset in the bank’s service to Corinth and Alcorn County.”

A Corinth native, Butler earned a BBA from Mississippi State University and is a graduate of the Mississippi School of Banking in Oxford. He recently served as a vice president and branch manager for another financial institution.

Butler is a member of the Rotary Club of Corinth, an Alliance Ambassador member, and county chairman of the Alcorn County Chapter of Delta Waterfowl. He is a member of the Foote Street Church of Christ.

He is marred to the former Susan Spencer of Corinth, and they have three daughters.
