The Booneville Police Department has made several felony arrests in recent weeks.

Among those arrested, all in separate, unrelated cases were:

David Wayne Cartwright Jr., 37, of Booneville, arrested Dec. 6 and charged with one count of attempting to utter a forged instrument. Bond was set at $10,000. Also arrested, on Dec. 7, was Elizabeth Ruth Tennyson, 30, of Booneville, charged with one count of attempting to utter a forged instrument, 10 counts of fraudulently obtaining goods and one county of felony possession of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $50,000. The investigation began in November when a citizen filed a report stating suspects had attempted to pass a stolen check on their personal checking account. At the time of her arrest Tennyson was found to be in possession of numerous counterfeit checks as well as equipment and materials to produce counterfeit checks and a felony amount of methamphetamine. The investigation is still ongoing and more arrests are anticipated. Shawn Edward Noe, 34, of Glen, arrested November 30 and charged with five felony counts of fraudulently obtaining goods. Bond was set at $5,000. Also charged in the case is Jazmin Danielle Cole, 28, of Glen, arrested Dec. 1 and charged with three felony counts of fraudulently obtaining goods. Her bond was set at $5,000. The case will be presented to the county grand jury.

Victoria Christine Jasch, 24, of Booneville, charged with one count of directing a minor to commit a felony and 20 counts of obtaining personal identification information for unlawful use. Bond was set at $75,000. Jasch was arrested Oct. 15 after a citizen filed a report stating one of their personal checks had been stolen and forged. A suspect, later determined to be a minor, attempted to pass the stolen check at a bank on North Second Street. The investigation determined Jasch directed the minor to attempt to utter the forged check.
