Booneville police have made numerous felony arrests in recent days.

Police Chief Michael Ramey reports the following arrests, all in separate, unrelated cases:

Michael Joe Lesley, 48, of 100 Sunflower Housing Apartment 2D, charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Bond was set at $10,000. He was arrested by officers responding to a report of a disturbance at the housing complex.

Anthony Tyler Bearden, 27, of 1064 Elvis Presley Drive, Tupelo, charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Bond was set at $10,000. He was arrested following a traffic stop on West Chambers Drive.

Jacob Dawson, 27, of 101 East Lake Street, Booneville, charged with felony malicious mischief. Bond was set at $2,500. He is accused of causing damage to a brick structure on Gaston Road.

Brandon L Penna of 7550 Old Highway 15 West, Monroe, La. charged with burglary of a dwelling with intent to commit assault. Bond was set at $50,000. He is accused of breaking into a residence on Old Marietta Road and assaulting a person in the residence.

Cory Scruggs of 925 Forks East Road, Marietta, charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Bond was set at $5,000. He was arrested by officers who discovered the gun while responding to a vehicle accident on First Street.

Harley Irvin, 20, charged with aggravated assault. He is being held without bond. He is accused of assaulting an individual during a disturbance at a Hatchie Street residence. The victim was transported to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo where they were treated and released.

Shavonte Stafford, 24, of 200 Parks Street, Booneville and Keyajo Price, 22, of 100 August Circle Apartment 15B, both charged with burglary of a dwelling and felony malicious mischief. They are accused of breaking into a residence in Booneville and doing a felony amount of damage to a vehicle at the same location. Bond was set for both at $10,000.

Vernon Ray Smith, 47, of Booneville and Justin Larry Voyles, 31, of Rienzi, both charged with tampering with physical evidence. Bond was set for both at $5,000 each. They were arrested by officers responding to a disturbance call at the College Inn Motel on North Second Street. When officers arrived the observed narcotics in the room and the suspects are accused of attempting to destroy that evidence.

Elizabeth Danielle Bain, 30, of Booneville, charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of a controlled substance (ecstasy pills). Bond was set at $20,000. She was arrested following a traffic stop on West Chambers Drive.

Jerry Wayne Garner, 54, of Booneville, charged with possession of a controlled substance (crack cocaine). Bond was set at $5,000. He was arrested following a traffic stop on North Smith Street.

Kimberly Joey Fugitt, 36, of Booneville, charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Bond was set at $5,000. She was arrested following a traffic stop on North Second Street.

Larry Rodney Brewer, 52, of Saltillo, charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Bond was set at $5,000. He was arrested following a traffic stop on North Main Street.

Jamar Bronson Wiicks, 33, of Booneville, charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Bond was set at $5,000. He was arrested by officers responding to a report of an individual passed out in a vehicle on West College Street.

Kasey Deran White, 34, of Corinth, charged with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) with intent to distribute. Bond was set at $5,000. He was arrested following a traffic stop on North Second Street.

George Allen Clark, 40, of Rienzi and Theresa Arlene Bishop, 53, of Rienzi, both charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Bond was set at $5,000 each. They were arrested following a traffic stop on East Church Street.

Molly Elizabeth Perrigo, 33, of Booneville, charged with possession of a controlled substance (Xanax pills). She was arrested by officers responding to a report of shoplifting at Wal-Mart. Bond was set at $5,000. She also faces other misdemeanor charges.

Bryan Scott Bottenfield, 35, of Rienzi, charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) along with felony fleeing and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Bond was set at a total of $15,000 and a hold was placed on him by the Mississippi Department of Corrections for a probation violation. Officers attempted to stop him on East Chambers Drive and he fled onto Jacinto Road, exiting the city, before losing control of his vehicle and being taken into custody.

Brandon Scott Harrison, 29, of Booneville and Matthew Patrick Prisant, 29, of Booneville, both charged with possession of a controlled substance (THC wax). Bond was set at $5,000 each. They were arrested at a safety checkpoint on Chambers Drive.

Broderick Antonio Burress, 29, of Booneville and Octravious Jamal Burresss, 19, of Booneville, both charged with possession of a controlled substance (ecstasy pills). Bond was set at $5,000 and a hold was placed on both by MDOC for probation violations. They were arrested following a traffic stop on East Church Street.
