Christmas Parade Grand Marshall

Will Tennison will lead the way next month as the City of Hospitality celebrates Christmas with the annual Booneville Christmas Parade. The parade is set for Monday, December 6 beginning at 6 p.m. Tennison was announced Tuesday as the 2021 Christmas Parade Grand Marshall and was also presented with a key to the city by the mayor and board of aldermen. Tennison, a Booneville High School student and the son of Bradley and Ginger Tennison, was diagnosed in February with osteosarcoma, a bone tumor in his right leg. Mayor Chris Lindley said he is being honored for his courage, tenacity and positive attitude and example as he’s faced this challenge. Taking part in the presentation were (from left) Bradley Tennison, Mayor Lindley, Will Tennison, Ward 1 Alderman Tara Green Lauderdale, Ward 4 Alderman Carolyn Miller, Ward 3 Alderman Jimmy Clyde Hicks and Alderman at Large Lavaile Shields.
