WALNUT — Funeral services for Herbert “Lyle” Dixon, 74, are set for 2 p.m. today at McBride Funeral Home Chapel in Ripley with burial at Lowry Cemetery. Visitation is from 7 a.m. until service time.
Mr. Dixon died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Magnolia Regional Health Center.

BRANDON — Funeral services for the Rev. Rudy Vallee James, 82, are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at McBride Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Criswell Cemetery with military honors. Visitation is Monday from 5 until 8 p.m.
Mr. James died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at the VA Hospital in Jackson.
