The 30-lap race will feature high speed action from the popular winged outlaw cars.
“These cars are super fast,” said track promoter Buddy Ayers. “They will top speeds of over 120 miles per hour. Seeing those winged sprint cars slide through the track’s fast corners won’t disappoint.”
The event is expected to draw drivers from at least seven states and awards National series points in each division. Past series champions from the USCS series are expected as well as the region’s top drivers.
The night will also feature outlaw, 602/stock late model, pure street, mod street and limited late model/604 races.
“The sprint car race will be the final race of the night,” added Ayers. “We’re saving the best for last.”
The Limited Late Model division features the fastest running cars on the local circuit.
“Most of the cars in the Limited Late Model class will reach over 100 miles per hour down the straightaways,” Ayers said.
The gates are set to open at 6 p.m., tonight with racing beginning around at 8 p.m.
