Two of the three regulation sized courts inside historic Bonner Arnold Coliseum were in action throughout the duration of the two-day event.
Squads were split into two separate brackets following the opening afternoon of competition on Monday. Tupelo High School claimed the bracket one championship on Tuesday evening while Lewisburg High School captured the bracket two crown.
Overall, the tournament provided athletes with an opportunity to contend against some of the top clubs and talent during their crucial summer schedule. Six of the participating programs clinched postseason berths last year while three won regular season division titles.
“The whole purpose of this camp was to provide another opportunity for these high school coaches to bring their kids in and get better,” said Northeast head coach Brian Alexander. “We feel like we’ve done that and we’ve got a lot of local teams here that had a good time this week.”
