Autry Davis will join the Corinth Artist Guild Gallery on Friday to share poetry during the gallery's open house event for Black History Month from 5 to 7 p.m. "He doesn't just read poetry. Her performs poetry," said Guild President Sonny Boatman. Davis and Cody Daniel, assistant librarian at the Corinth Library, will share poetry between 5 and 6 p.m. In addition to black poetry, Davis said he will present at least one black folk tale and sing at least one spiritual. Davis is active with the Crossroads Poetry Project and was involved with Corinth Theatre-Arts for many years. Davis is pictured with artwork by Edward Eugene Wade Jr., which is part of the gallery's Black History Month exhibition at the new gallery location at 609 Fillmore Street.
