First United Methodist Church is bringing out a tent full of treats on Halloween.

"Tent or Treat" is slated for the Fillmore Street Chapel lawn from 6-8 p.m.

Last year, the church had 1,200 attended its trunk or treat event.

"We have been collecting candy since September," said church secretary Janet Wallace.

Hot dogs and a drink will be served free of charge for those who attend. Food will be served from 6-7 p.m.

A party jumper and face paintings will also be available along with balloon animals.

"We are planning for another 1,200 people," added Wallace of the free event.
