Northeast Mississippi Community College football program held its annual golf tournament at Shiloh Ridge Golf Course in Corinth on Thursday, May 30.

Over 40 individual golfers took part in the event that serves as a fund-raiser for the Northeast football program.

The quartet of Jim Walker, Mike Latch, Larry Jobe and Jerry Smith took home top honors in the four-person scramble with an 18-under 54 while two other teams tied for second place at 17-under.

M.T. Winters captured the “Closest to the Pin” competition with a drive that landed just 32 inches from the hole on the par-3, 149-yard No. 10 at Shiloh Ridge while Laura Collins, the only female in the 43-person field, won the longest drive contest on the par-5, 513-yard No. 4 hole.
