In the opening match, against the Warriors, Tyler Mercer logged the win from the mound with a no hitter in a full seven innings.
Only four batters reached base for Corinth off three walks and a fielders choice into center field which eliminated a runner at second and fell just short of a double play during the second inning.
Mercer struck out seven during the game, including a three and out round in the fourth inning.
Starting for the Warriors, and taking the loss, was pitcher Donnie Guare who threw for two and a half innings with three strikes.
Junior Hack Smith completed the game for Corinth, giving up one run in the top of the sixth to Kevin Ginn, who finished the game 2 for 3 at the plate including an RBI for Matthew Woodruff.
During the second game, the Aggies got off to a quick start with five hits and three runs in the opening inning.
Woodruff logged a two-run RBI single before Elijah Potts scored on a hit from Ginn.
Cole Tomlin earned the win for the Aggies, tossing through seven innings for two strikes and four hits, including a double during the second inning by freshman Channing Kendrick.
The Aggies had two doubles of their own, back to back hits from Lathrop and Mercer during Kossuth's eight inning top of the second.
Both hits brought in runs for KHS, while singles and two walks tacked on six more for a 11-1 lead.
The Blue Devils scored only once more in the game, a fielders choice to left field eliminating a runner at second while allowing third base to score.
Alcorn Central also gained a win earlier in the day against Booneville in an 8-3 decision, while tying with Corinth 6-6 in action on Thursday.
Corinth went on to defeat Booneville 9-1 on Thursday evening, while the Aggies defeated Central 6-0 in the first game of the regional.
Kossuth, along with Alcorn Central and Corinth, advances to the Championship Bracket of the NEMCABB tournament which is set to begin on Monday at the New Albany Sportsplex.
ACHS will be the first county team to see the field at 10 a.m. when they will face Oxford, and Corinth will play South Pontotoc at 11:15.
Kossuth will receive the winner of the days first match-up, North Pontotoc and Lafayette, at 1:30 p.m.
All teams must win to advance in the championship bracket on Tuesday.
