Biggersville swept the back end of its home-and-home series with Blue Mountain on Friday.

The Lady Lions rolled to a 65-36 win in the opener, while the Lions increased their Division 1-1A lead with a 63-61 decision in the nightcap.

Tyler Shelly busted out for a game-high 30 points and Jada Tubbs followed with 25, outscoring the Lady Cougars by 19 points. Shelley also added both of the Lady Lions’ two three-pointers.

Cassie Farris’ club improved to 8-11 overall and 5-2 in league play.

Daniel Simmons paced four double-digit scorers as the Lions improved to 15-6 overall and remained unbeaten in league play at 7-0.

Blue Mountain (16-3, 4-2) rallied in the fourth but could only cut a isx-point deficit to two by the final horn.

Jaylon Gaines added 14 for BHS, while Shaun Watson and Tyran Davis hit for 10 each.

The Lions play Cleveland East Side today at 4:30 in the Kings of Court Classic at North Pontotoc.
