Kermit Davis To Appear In Downtown Corinth

Ole Miss head men's basketball coach Kermit Davis will be in historic downtown Corinth Thursday, October 11 from 5:30-7pm for 'Hapy Hour With Kermit Davis.

The event will be held at Franklin Courtyard and basketball season ticket holders will receive complimentary drink tickets upon arrival. Basketball season tickets will be available for purchase on site.

There will be raffle give-aways for existing season ticket holders and individuals who purchase new season tickets Thursday.

The event is free and open to the public.

Whispering Pines Hosting Scramble

The Whispering Pines Golf Club in Kossuth will host a 3-person scramble this Saturday beginning at 8:30am.

The cost is $40 per person or $120 per team which includes cart. There are a limited number of carts available so call ahead to make sure one is available. Some will bring their own.

There will be two flights with cash payouts and each hole will feature larger 8-inch cups. There will also be contests for longest drive and closest to the hole.

Northeast Baseball Hosting Hitting Camp

The Tigers are hosting their annual Hitting Under the Lights camp each Monday night in October. This camp is open to athletes in grades 7-12 at a cost of $85 and is limited to the first 25 applicants. Youth League Beginning At Plaza Lanes

Plaza Lanes is now accepting registration for teams in the upcoming Corinth Junior League.

The league is set to begin October 15 and is open to any youth 21 years of age or younger.

Kossuth Booster Club To Meet

The Kossuth High School Booster Club will meet on October 15 at 6pm in the high school gym.

All Booster Club members are encoutaged to be in attendance.

Booneville Fall Festival Approaching

Booneville's Fall Festival will kick off on Saturday, Oct. 20 with the annual Fall Festival 5K Run/Walk.

This year's event, hosted by the Booneville Kiwanis Club, will begin with registration starting at 7 a.m. at the Triangle in historic downtown Booneville.

The race will begin at 8 a.m. Top finishers will have the chance to win prizes including gift certificates and cash.

Registration is $25 for individual adults or $10 per person for groups of 4 or more and for youth 15 and under.

All entry fees go to help the club help others through a variety of projects and donations impacting the people of Prentiss County.
