Knight, Lions whip Okolona; improve to 10-0

Biggersville quarterback Quinton Knight (22) stretches for a first down to keep a late drive alive as the Lions stayed unbeaten with a 40-21 thrashing of defending Division 1-1A champion Okolona. Knight was the second leading rusher for the Lions with 88 yards and added 60 yards through the air. He ran for one score and passed for another while Qua Davis paced Biggersville with 92 yards on the ground and three touchdowns. He added a fourth TD on a 15-yard touchdown reception. The Lions improve to 10-0, the best start in school history, and 6-0 inside Division 1-1A. They play Falkner at home next week before finishing the regular season in two weeks as they host Smithville, in what will likely be the Division 1-1A championship game. Read the game story for more details on the historic BHS win.
