Two face felony drug charges

County traffic stops this week led to felony drug charges for a Corinth man and woman in separate cases.

• Steven Anthony King, 32, of Corinth, was arrested on Monday and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

Sheriff Ben Caldwell said the arrest followed a traffic stop about 11:30 p.m. at Highway 72 and County Road 604 during which the deputy detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. The deputy located approximately 83 grams of alleged marijuana along with items used to package the marijuana for sale.

• Dakota Cheyenne Moseley, 26, of Corinth, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.

The traffic stop happened about 11 a.m. on Highway 45 North at the Purdy School Road exit. During the stop, the deputy discovered approximately 0.5 grams of alleged methamphetamine, the sheriff said.
