The young men and women of the 2019 class will soon take their final walk.

Alcorn School District commencements will highlight next week.

Biggersville seniors will accept their diplomas Monday, May 20 at 7 p.m. inside the school's gymnasium.

Kossuth Class of 2019 will celebrate their achievement on Tuesday, May 21 at 7 p.m., while Alcorn Central twelfth graders will say farewell on Thursday, May 23 at 7 p.m.

Both the Kossuth and Alcorn Central graduations will take place at the Crossroads Arena.

Alcorn County school administrators are looking forward to seeing their seniors take the next step.

"This group of graduating students are talented individuals and we anticipate great achievements in their upcoming endeavors," said Larry B. Mitchell, superintendent of Alcorn schools.

Due to their block schedule format, Corinth High School seniors won't graduate until Saturday, June 8. The ceremony will place at 2 p.m. at the Crossroads Arena.

According to Corinth School District Superintendent Lee Childress, graduation is rewarding experience for all high school seniors as well as their parents, teachers and school administrators.
