Each holiday season, Corinth's premier healthcare provider does exactly that "" provides.

At no cost to attendants, Magnolia Regional Health Center foots the bill for a truly wonderful Winter Wonderland event.

Set for Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Crossroads Arena, the hospital hosts a all-out Christmas spectacular.

For families and children, the annual Winter Wonderland includes complimentary photos with Santa, snacks, goodies, toys, games and holiday fun.

"This event is our way of giving back to the community that supports us," said Magnolia Foundation Executive Director Traci Moore. "It's all about families coming out and enjoying the day without any worries."

The event also acts as a fundraiser for the nonprofit foundation with a silent auction of holiday decorations, trees and wreathes decorating the center of arena. Many trees and wreathes have been donated and decorated by local businesses and organizations.

Admission is free for the event, however, the foundation is asking attendees to bring a non perishable food item to help support the AMEN Food Pantry. Monetary donations will also be accepted.

Started in 1993, AMEN is Alcorn Ministry for Emergency Needs, a community-centered food pantry located in Corinth.

Moore said items currently needed by the pantry include peanut butter, jelly, spaghetti sauce, Ramen noodles, dry pinto beans, crackers, canned corn, canned green beans, powdered milk, tuna, soup, Mac and Cheese, beef stew, canned tomatoes, sundries, toilet paper, hand soap and tooth paste.

All proceeds from the event benefit the nonprofit Magnolia Foundation's Thomas L. Sweat, MD Health Education Center Building Fund.
