Patriot guard for former MIA should arrived about 1 p.m. Wednesday

Family members are trying to get the word out the convoy escorting former MIA Korean War veteran Julius E. McKinney is expected to arrived in Corinth about 1 p.m. Wednesday.

This time is earlier than expected and what was announced on Tuesday. Many people expressed interest in lining the highway to greet the patriot guard escort as it arrives in Corinth and at Magnolia Funeral Home.

DNA testing confirmed McKinney's remains, missing the past 67 years.

Visitation at Magnolia is from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, followed by a 11 a.m. Friday funeral. Burial is 1 p.m. Friday at Corinth National Cemetery.
